All About Therapy
Personalized Attention for All Your Needs
Perhaps you're down or anxious - maybe you're unsure about the future of a relationship, or just feel that you aren't living the life you were meant to lead. Whatever your needs may be, I am here to offer support. Therapy is a process of growth and self-discovery, and in my sessions I promote behavioral transformation by encouraging a positive outlook and the adoption of new attitudes and reactions. I have the tools and professional experience to help you get back on track.

My Story
Registered Social Worker Here to Guide You

I am Gina King, a social worker who values honesty, warmth and the kind of conversations that help people breathe a little easier. Most people come to me when life has quietly piled up on them or when they have been strong for too long. Sometimes it shows up as anxiety that refuses to settle. Sometimes it is the weight of a transition you did not choose. Sometimes it is the sense that you are slipping away from your own life.
When you work with me, you do not need to have the perfect words or a clear plan. You just need to show up as you are. My job is to create a space where you can be real without fear of judgment and where your story is met with curiosity and respect. I focus on what is beneath the surface instead of rushing you toward quick fixes because real change deserves time and care.
I offer both virtual counselling across Ontario and in person sessions for individuals in Clarington and the surrounding areas. Some people prefer the comfort of meeting online from their own space. Others feel more grounded sitting across from someone in the room. You choose what feels right for you. Either way, the goal is the same. A steadier mind. A clearer sense of direction. A place where you get to be seen and supported.
If a part of you knows you need something to shift, reach out. The first conversation often brings more relief than people expect. We start there, and move at a pace that feels respectful of what you carry.
